When I first started training on setting up, managing, and executing launches, I was admittedly a bit overwhelmed. There are a lot of moving pieces to manage if you want to successfully bring your course, book, or coaching program to market. It’s not as simple as making the decision to launch, sending a few emails, and hoping everything works out. Launching requires a very well thought out and strategic plan. And if not handled correctly, your launch will not produce the results you hope for.
In today’s video, I want to highlight the 3 biggest mistakes I see heart-centered entrepreneurs making when launching their offers. These mistakes are responsible for making launches fall flat.
Failure to Research and Test Your Offer
What you want to teach or offer can be very different from what your market wants and needs. That is why it is so important to identify your target market and do hands on research with your market. Ask them what they want and need. Propose your idea and test if it resonates with them. If you can get people to prepay for your solution to their problem, then you know you are on to something.
Failure to Clearly Communicate Your Offer
Your market needs to fully understand the transformation you are offering to them. If your offer is unclear or nebulous, it won’t attract buyers. Avoid pie-in-the sky types of offers that are hard for people to wrap their minds around. Be specific and concrete when communicating the transformation you provide for prospects. Use the words they use to describe their problems. Tap into their feelings and desires based on what they tell you they want and need.
Using Too Much Automation
Let’s face it. People buy from people. You can have the best landing pages, best copywriting and a flawlessly executed automated email sequence. But if your prospects do not have a high-touch experience of what it’s like to work with you, then your sales will suffer. Be personable and let your personality shine with your content. Use video and FB Lives. Write personal and meaningful emails and DMs to potential clients. Be ready to answer all their questions. Connect on a heart-level. What your buyers want is YOU.
