We had a blast working with Greg Crossan, a coach who helps tax, accounting and finance professionals; find their balance, lead with confidence, and transform their life and career. His goal is to help these professionals design and implement a transition aligned with their whole self, to reach their professional and personal goals.

As someone with 30 years of experience in the industry, Greg believes that everyone holds the potential to create a life and career of their choosing. They just need to unlock it by looking within themselves. We ensured that this depth of emotion and expertise was reflected in every aspect of his SquareSpace website as we worked with him to build his entire brand and website.

Greg wanted his online home to reflect his values, his passion for helping fellow professionals, and the importance of knowing oneself. He also wanted to shed light on iPEC’s proprietary Core Energy Coaching™ methodology which made up the core of his coaching. We wanted to provide Greg with a website that acted as an important part of Greg’s sales funnel and messaging, and so much more! 

Team AOBM designed a website where people could see the possibilities and opportunities working with Greg would bring. 

Our SquareSpace Website Launch To-Do List:

• Understand Greg’s brand and business, including what Greg was planning to bring to the table as a coach. We also took a quick peek at iPEC and how it played a role in what Greg wanted to do for his clients. 
• Design an unmissable brand, and brand assets (Logos, colors, and fonts), that would reaffirm the website (and Greg) as a safe space for his audience, leads, and potential clients. We also wanted the branding to reflect Greg’s values and his love for hiking and nature. 

• Write strategic copy for his lead magnet opt-in page, home page, coaching page, and about page. This included reading his e-book (which is the lead magnet) and summarizing the huge amount of value it provided to tax, accounting, and finance professionals. 

• Create an easy-to-navigate, cohesive, SEO-optimized website that both Greg and his ideal humans love.

• Create an on-brand, highly flexible website that can be scaled up as Greg’s business grows further. 

The Process

After the initial clarity call, where we decided we’d be a great fit to work together, Greg filled out our branding and offer questionnaires. 

Based on his answers, we came up with a strategic website layout and determined what pages to give priority to as per his current needs. 

Once the site map was approved, we started working on the copy for his website. We worked on the copy for one page at a time, and only when Greg was completely happy with the results did we move on to the next. 

While the copy and the messaging were being written and finalized, we also started the process of coming up with cohesive brand colors, logo, and other assets. 

Greg was involved in each phase of the project, and his input was taken on board. Tweaks were made (keeping Greg’s messaging and strategy in mind) until Greg was completely happy with the results. 

Once the copy for a particular page was approved, we moved on to the design phase of the website. As with the copy, we ensured Greg remained in the loop for the design of every page of his website. 

The Result

An on-brand SquareSpace website that:

1) is a high-functioning part of a successful, converting sales funnel for Greg’s coaching business 

2) leads people to his email list 

3) exemplifies Greg’s mission and values

4) gives a deeper look into Greg as a person
